This blog is a space where we want to answer your questions in the aforementioned areas of life and more. No question is too small, gross, inappropriate or even too big. This blog is a judgement-free platform that encourages anonymity as well. A lot of us didn’t have much guidance in these areas, and a number of us don’t have an open relationship with our parents, where we can ask them questions of this sort and get honest, helpful answers. We don’t want any of our readers and followers to be uneducated, and consequently, we want to answer your questions and help you get on the right path!
How It All Began
This website was originally created as Young, Married, and Saved Blog in November 2016. A close friend of Keith and Cynthia Akita felt that she could learn a lot more from them as a married couple if they put all of their thoughts and advice together in a blog format. This platform served that purpose until the end of the first quarter of 2018. Keith had a vision of expansion, which God strongly impressed on his heart to add a team of spirit-filled men and women of God, in what culminated in the shift from Young, Married, and Saved Blog to the birth of Overcomers’ Circle!
Our Purpose
The purpose of Overcomer’s Circle is to serve as a space that empowers our followers, subscribers, viewers and readers with a winner’s mentality in every area of their respective lives based solely on the Bible- the unadulterated Word of God. Our team aims to teach based on biblical principles and prophecies, and share our thoughts and advice on questions that have been posed to us, our life experiences, and other areas that we may find beneficial for individuals that are single, married, in a relationship, or are thinking about entering into a relationship, in business, or simply looking to grow as followers of Jesus Christ.
We do want to stress that in terms of our collective personal thoughts and opinions, we are in no way forcing anyone to follow our advice. Instead, we are offering help in areas that we have experience in. We will never provide advice that is contrary to the Word of God. Please feel free to comment and send questions, concerns, and thoughts. We do ask that everyone remains respectful and use appropriate language. If not, we would have to delete inappropriate comments. We hope that this resource becomes a space where we can all interact, share our views, and also learn from others. If you do see something you like or agree with, don’t forget to let us know, and then share it with others who you feel could benefit as well. Let’s share the knowledge!
Welcome to Overcomers’ Circle!
Our Mission
JESUS IS THE REASON!
Human approval is not a concern of ours. Our first and utmost goal is to serve God with this platform. We pray that through this platform, many of you will grow in your relationship with God, and for those who do not have a relationship with God, we pray that through this space, the Holy Spirit will touch and change your hearts and bring you unto Christ. AMEN!
BRING YOU CLOSER TO GOD
Our desired target is that through the work we are doing, you will grow closer to God. It is our prayer that you will understand that your entire life will not be complete no matter what you do unless you put God first in every area.
INCREASE KNOWLEDGE & PROVIDE WISDOM
Church does not always do a great job when it comes to discussing troubles and questions concerning relationships, sex, among others. We want to provide a judgement-free zone where you will be able to ask those tough questions that you really need answers/guidance to, and help you understand how to address these situations.
PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF A WHOLE PERSON
In our generation, we are so consumed with filling our lives with THINGS that include, but are not limited to relationships, sex, drugs and abusive substances, partying within unhealthy confines, in order to feel whole, but we are failing miserably because being WHOLE has everything to do with feeling complete in our lives with the sole help of God our Father, without those extra distractions.
